Phase 1

This is going to be fun!

If you have not inquired with us already, the first step towards your new custom cabinetry order is to submit any and all information you have regarding the details of your project. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to call.

To quote your cabinetry accurately, we require:

  • Cabinetry elevations

  • Floor plans to scale

  • Inspiration photos or material/color choice

If you don’t have cabinetry plans or a design just yet (perhaps just a floor plan and inspiration), our design service will provide a custom cabinetry elevation in a 2D rendering for a small fee, so that we can quote your project accurately. All drawings fees are credited to your cabinetry production costs moving forward. See design packages here.

Phase 2

The next step after approving your quote and design is to draft your architectural shop drawings.

Our shop drawings are professional blueprints drawn by an in-house architect. To do this we use the information tailored to you through our design service, or the plans and elevations provided to us. Shop drawings are the Bible to your cabinetry and installation, detailing every individual cabinet box. They are the plans used by our team in production to craft your order. During this phase we review and revise the drawings until they represent your expectations. View examples of shop drawings here.

Production 

Phase 3

After your final package review, we turn your custom order over to our workshop for production. All of our cabinets are expertly crafted from scratch by hand at our Maryland headquarters. Every cabinet is built to order.

Production times are typically 12 weeks and subject to change.

Our production team members are highly skilled artisans, dedicated to crafting top-quality cabinetry that represents the East West luxury brand. We take immense pride in our experts who are committed to upholding our values.

Staging

& Shipping

Phase 4

Post-production staging is where your design comes to life.

All cabinetry orders are dry-fit in our warehouse for precision prior to packing. Visits or video calls are welcomed during this phase. (See your cabinetry before it ships!)

After staging, your cabinetry order is safely wrapped in a high quality foam blanket to ensure it arrives in pristine condition. Depending on your location, freight times are 2-8 days.

  • Our kitchen cabinetry prices start at $35,000. All of our cabinets are built to order, based on the design tailored to our client. For that reason, our range in pricing can be significant based on the materials and finishes chosen, as well as the size and scope.

    • Yes, we do. We offer an on-site sure-fit guarantee service where we measure your cabinetry spaces. Should you use our sure-fit guarantee, we take the responsibility that your cabinetry is the correct size. We also offer full service kitchen design services.

  • We prefer to focus our expertise on design and production at this time- so we do not install. However, we do offer onsite installation liaison services. (See our design packages), and recommend installation companies. Our state of the art shop drawings provide the greatest directions in the industry for any qualified installation team. And as always, we are only a phone call away.

  • The construction and installation quality liaison service is for a period of 2 on-site consecutive days. During this service an East West expert will assist the purchaser with any installation/contractor questions, concerns, suggestions, or challenges in relation to the project. Our goal with the service is to guide and assist the project before it is completed, for optimal results. Simply put, we want your end result to be gorgeous!

  • Yes, we offer aluminum doors, in powder coat black.

  • Yes, any color on earth.

  • Yesterday! It is best practice to order your cabinetry well before it is needed. We offer storage for your cabinetry order should you wish to order early and stay ahead of the curve.

  • Yes, we offer full packages very often.

  • Pre-assembled means put together fully. We hang your doors and drawer faces in our factory prior to packing and shipping. This makes the installation process much faster for your install team. Fillers, toe kicks, cabinet feet, and any other noted product is shipped along with your cabinetry.

  • Not to worry- our design team is made up of highly skilled professionals with years of experience in field installations. Give us a call, and we will schedule a video call to walk you through any set backs. Our onsite installation liaison service is always an option as well.

  • Yes, we offer storage options. Please inquire with our team for rates.
